What They Do
Eyas Medical Imaging is developing the Ascent3T Neonatal MRI System, a dedicated high-field MRI platform designed for neonate and infant anatomy and small enough to be installed directly inside the NICU. The company's value proposition is operational as much as technical: avoid fragile neonatal transport to a distant radiology suite while still delivering high-resolution imaging of the brain, lungs, heart, abdomen, and extremities. The Ascent3T was conceived at Cincinnati Children's and built from learning gathered across more than 1,700 infant MRI scans on prototype systems, with Philips electronics, software, and pulse-sequence support.
Competitive Position
Eyas opens a sixth NICU infrastructure wedge: bedside neonatal imaging. The obvious comparison set includes Natus-style incumbent monitoring vendors at the bedside and Aspect Imaging's Embrace system in neonatal MRI. Eyas differentiates by pushing a high-field whole-body system into the NICU rather than offering a lower-scope head-imaging workflow.
