The Deal

US Pediatric Partners announced on April 22, 2025 that it had acquired Hope Services, a community-based mental-health and care-management provider with three locations in the greater Raleigh, North Carolina area. Terms were not disclosed. The company said the acquisition expanded its pediatric behavioral-health footprint and increased the platform to more than 55 locations across New Jersey, Maryland, North Carolina, and South Carolina at the time.

Context

Hope Services is important because it made the behavioral-health side of USPP's strategy more tangible. Rather than talking abstractly about integrated care, USPP added a provider operating in community mental health and care management, which supports its claim that it intends to bridge physical and mental health services for children in underserved communities.

The transaction also followed USPP's earlier BTST Services partnership, suggesting Webster's platform was using behavioral-health tuck-ins before broadening into more pediatric primary-care geography.
