The Deal

US Pediatric Partners announced on April 29, 2025 that it had earlier in the year partnered with BTST Services, a Maryland-based behavioral-health organization. Financial terms were not disclosed. USPP said the partnership expanded access to pediatric behavioral health across Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic and strengthened its effort to combine pediatric primary care with community-based mental-health services.

Context

This transaction matters because it shows USPP was not only buying pediatric practices. It was also assembling behavioral-health assets to support a whole-child platform story. BTST brought outpatient mental-health care, targeted case management, intensive home- and community-based services, and school-based programs in Maryland, which gave USPP a broader services mix before its later Aspen Pediatrics partnership established formal Maryland primary-care presence.

The exact close date was not disclosed in the April 29 announcement, so the file uses the public announcement date rather than an inferred transaction date.
